About Global Academy of Technology

Global Academy of Technology (GAT) was founded in 2001 by the National Education Foundation. It is on a campus of about 10 acres at Aditya Layout, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, in south-west Bengaluru. Education portals report that GAT received autonomous status in 2020. It remains affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), which awards its degrees.

GAT is approved by AICTE, accredited by NAAC with an A grade, and has NBA-accredited programmes. It is one of the few colleges in the RR Nagar area to offer Aeronautical Engineering.

Courses and branches

GAT offers B.E. in branches including Computer Science and Engineering, AI and Machine Learning, AI and Data Science, Information Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, Civil and Aeronautical Engineering. Collegedunia reports an intake of 180 seats each for CSE and ECE. It also offers M.Tech, M.Sc and MBA programmes.
