MVJ College of Engineering (MVJCE) was established in 1982 as the flagship institution of the Venkatesha Education Society, on a 15-28 acre campus at Channasandra, near ITPB, in Kadugodi, Whitefield, east Bengaluru. MVJCE is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and was granted autonomous status in 2019.
MVJCE is accredited by NAAC with a B++ grade and NBA-accredited for select programmes including Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering. It has consistently ranked among the top 4 engineering colleges under VTU for university ranks.

For B.E., candidates need a pass in 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, plus one other science subject, with at least 45% aggregate. A valid KCET, COMEDK UGET or JEE Main rank is required for the respective route.
Admission routes at MVJCE
1. KCET (about 75% of seats)
Karnataka candidates are allotted seats through KEA counselling. MVJCE reports a merit scholarship giving 100% tuition waiver to students with a KCET rank in the top 1,000.
2. COMEDK UGET (about 15% of seats)
Students from any state can apply through COMEDK counselling, at a higher fee than KCET.
