Sapthagiri College of Engineering (SCE) was established in 2001 under the Sri Srinivasa Educational and Charitable Trust, on Hesaraghatta Main Road in north-west Bengaluru. SCE is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by AICTE. Note that the Sapthagiri group also runs a newer, separate entity, Sapthagiri NPS University (a deemed university); SCE itself remains the VTU-affiliated, KCET/COMEDK college.
SCE is accredited by NAAC with an A grade and is ISO 9001 certified. The college has secured 7 VTU university ranks over the years, including six in Biotechnology and one in Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Karnataka candidates are allotted seats through KEA counselling. This is SCE’s lowest-fee route.
2. COMEDK UGET (about 30% of seats)
Students from any state can apply through COMEDK counselling, at a higher fee than KCET.
